LightCatchers Photo Club
Family Day Outing

When: Sunday, July 10, 2011 9AM-5PM (Rain date: Sunday, July 24).

Where: Marsh Haven Nature Center - Three miles East of Waupun, on Hwy 49.

Who: Photo Club members and their families.

Purpose: To further the members photographic skills through presentations, and interactions between photographers.

Cost: $2.00/adults and $1.00/children. Individual ($10/year) and family ($20/year) annual memberships are also available.


Event Schedule

9:30 - Jeff Raflik - Grounds layout and site information (Gather outside the front entrance of the main building).

9:45 - Josh Dobbs - Macro photography refresher

10:30 - Self-guided photography

12:00 - Pot luck Lunch

1:00 - Julie Zahn - Portraiture / Dealing with mid-day sun.

2:00 - Self-guided photography

4:00 - Jim Dittmann - Pin hole camera.

Other Details

Lunch: Pot Luck with sign up sheet.

Photographic Opportunities: Lots of wildflowers, butterflies, dragonflies, and other insects. Lots of birds, especially at the bird feeding stations on either side of the gift shop (viewed from inside the gift shop).

"Snicky" the Corn Snake should be on hand..... and loves to be handled (see Larry at the front desk).
