Framed pictures of the Silver Lake Loons are now for sale at the Eagle Sports Center in Eagle River,WI, about 5 blocks from the nest itself. The sporting goods store is located at 702 Wall Street, at the intersection of Wall Street, and Silver Lake Road. I started out by recently sending ten 13X19 photos in 18X24 frames which sell for $100. I will be sending up more pictures every time Marc (the owner of the cabin I rent) goes up to his cabin, depending on sales. On September 23rd, I will also be sending up some 8X10s in 11X14 frames, which will sell for $50. In the event that any of them are sold out, George has a small photo album with numbered 4X6's of the prints that are available, if you would like to order one.
All photos ar double matted, usually brown on brown. It's a good neutral color that goes well with the wooden frames, and also with any color walls or other surroundings. Occaisionally, other matt board colors will be available at random. All photos will also have a self adhesive label on the matting, just below the photo that looks like a more expensive brass plate. Besides the species, and the photographer, the label also notes the location (Silver Lake - Eagle River, WI).
Besides several of my individual photos being available in 11X14, and 13X19 frames, I also created the collage below (framed prints do not have the large text), which will only be available in the 18X24 size. Some individual pictures within the collage may be changed from time to time, but they will always be the Silver Lake Loons.
